I purchased my house around 2007 or so. Just a modest three bedroom, two bath ranch. It's right on a huge park and also sits against a forest, so I have one neighbor. And that works well for me, because I grew up with no neighbors, and don't really know how to interact with them. Apparently, they don't know how to interact with me either, because I can barely get them to make eye contact with me when we see each other in the outdoors. But if that's the worst they'll get, then I consider myself lucky. I've heard horror stories of bad neighbors, so I don't mind. Plus I don't like people anyway. But not you people. You people have class.
Since that picture, I've gotten new gutters, and I'm currently in the process of painting the outside. I guess that means I'll have to get new shutters. And yeah, my lawn's awful, but I hate lawns. I'm pretty close to having the entire area declared a wildflower zone, do not mow. Being next to the park, my lawn is infested with dandelions, and there's not much I can do. I don't feel like adding more chemicals into the runoff just for the sake of green grass, so that's my excuse!
My current project is organizing my garage. Come and see!
